Game of Thrones actors goof around on set, and a few Dragon related spoilers

Actors who haven’t previously filmed any scenes together on Game of Thrones have come together this year, which includes Emilia Clarke (Daenerys Targaryen) and Kit Harington (Jon Snow), among others like Conleth Hill (Lord Varys), Peter Dinklage (Tyrion Lannister) and Liam Cunningham (Ser Davos). Not only has news about Game of Thrones season 7 filming from Spain given us some major spoilers, we now also have a few pictures of actors having fun on set. But before we get to the actors being goofy, let’s focus on the limited news for today.

Conleth Hill, who plays Lord Varys was recently spotted on set with his co-stars, proving that the Spider is in Dragonstone with Dany and the others. Hill has recently arrived in Zumaia, where filming is taking place at the moment, and although we didn’t see any footage of him filming important scenes, there are some pictures shared by Daily Mail, where we can not only see the actors together, they are also having a little unwinding time together. Check out the pictures below:

In the picture above, Emilia Clarke is looking above, which sort of indicates that she might be looking at one of her dragons.

If that wasn’t enough, some of the actors were also holding dragon heads! Although they didn’t exactly seem to be filming some scenes, but Kit Harington and Emilia Clarke were having a little fun with the dragon heads on set. The small painted head is used as a reference for the VFX team, which helps them in the future to know exactly how the dragon’s colors and texture should look like in a particular environment. Aside from that, the large grey head is usually used for contact with the actors, so that the human performer is actually touching something resembling the dragon, instead of miming in the air, which tends to look incredibly fake.

Take a look at the pictures below:

Here we can see Jon Snow with a dragon. Now if that hasn’t been a dream of Game of Thrones fans all over now that Jon is a Targaryen, we don’t even know. It’s not clear whether this scene was really shot or if the production just did it to mess with the media, but it looks like an awful lot of trouble to go to if they’re being funny entirely. However, Game of Thrones production has a history of diverting the attention of the media so we can’t really rule that option out, though it doesn’t change the fact that its pretty cool to see Jon with a dragon head.

Looks like the actors are having a lot of fun while filming season 7 in Spain this year, and we hope we can get a lot more stuff to go on with in the future. Tell us in the comments what you think about Jon with one of Dany’s dragons (what looks like Rhaegal based on the pictures, maybe?).
