“She’s actually a pretty f*ckin’ cool person”: Even Aegon actor knows why Rhaenyra makes a good ruler in new House of the Dragon promo

The Targaryens’ heritage is as twisted and complex as it can get. The legendary family, known for incest, infighting, and relentless backstabbing, is not feared without reason. As the once mighty House of the Dragon divides itself into Blacks and Greens, they stand on opposite sides of the battlefield. The cast of the Game of Thrones prequel picked their favorites to sit on the Iron Throne in a new video.
All the reasons why Rhaenyra should be the ruler
Just like the fanbase, the cast of House of the Dragon is also divided on who should rule the Seven Kingdoms. Surprisingly, it is actor Tommy Glynn-Carney who plays Aegon who explains why Rhaenyra should be the Queen, saying that she “has a good heart” and is “a pretty f*ckin cool person”. Others such as Steve Toussaint and Pheobe Campbell chime in, while Emma D’Arcy and Fabien Frankel give a more tactical answer.

Reasons why Aegon II should be King
This section begins with Emma D’Arcy, who again intelligently explains how Aegon could make a good king. However, Bethany Antonia straightaway refuses, reiterating “there’s absolutely nothing [good]” she can say about him. The video ends with Harry Collett, who follows his on-screen mom’s example, and tries to give his reasons how the Sunfyre-rider could be a good choice for the Iron Throne.
