House of the Dragon’s Freddie Fox (Gwayne Hightower) joins The Sandman Season 2

Fans are looking forward to House of the Dragon‘s second season, which is slated to premiere in June 2024. The Game of Thrones prequel, which is based on George R.R. Martin‘s novel “Fire and Blood,” includes a variety of new historical figures from Westeros. Among them is Gwayne Hightower, played by Freddie Fox, who was mostly unimportant in Season 1 but will be crucial to the next season. Fox will also be seen in The Sandman Season 2 next.

Gwayne moved to King’s Landing with his family after Otto was appointed Hand of the King to King Jahaerys I. In the book series, Gwayne competed in a jousting match as one of Alicent’s champions at the celebration of the marriage’s fifth anniversary to Viserys. Nevertheless, Ser Criston Cole unhorsed him. Now he will join forces with him in the upcoming civil war.
