The focus of the second season of House of the Dragon, the Game of Thrones prequel, will be the children, who are now being portrayed as young adults engaged in a civil war. Both the Blacks and the Greens would sustain significant losses, but the moment that set everything in motion—Lucerys Velaryon’s murder at the hands of Aemond and Vhagar—will live on in the memories of viewers as one of the most horrific of the whole series. And his brother, Jacaerys (Harry Collett) will be out for revenge.

In the second season of House of the Dragon, there was a chance that Lucerys might return

House of the Dragon on-screen brothers Jacaerys and Lucerys, played by Harry Collett and Elliot Grihault, attended the Marvel DC Plus (MDC+) Comic Con on Sunday, May 21, 2023, in Quex Park, Birchington. In addition to taking photos and signing autographs, the two also fielded questions from fans, one of which was concerning the survival of Lucerys. Before Harry interjected and reminded him that it was private information, Grihault stated this:

“Yeah, I tried. We tried… Oh well. I can’t say (laughs).”
