First look at Jeyne Arryn in House of the Dragon Season 2
Lady Jeyne Arryn is one of the new characters to be introduced in House of the Dragon Season 2. Her casting was leaked not too long ago, and a recent first look from HBO confirms Amanda Collin’s role as the head of House Arryn.
The official character description as provided by HBO reads:
“As one of the few female rulers in Westeros, the young Lady Jeyne Arryn (Amanda Collin) has proven to be a capable and effective leader. She is smart, cunning, not afraid to speak her mind and zealously protects the country she loves. Never married, and having taken down rival rivals (not least her own cousin), Lady Jeyne understands all too well the challenges of ruling a man’s world.”
Who is Vale’s Lady Jeyne Arryn?
Jeyne Arryn, popularly known as the Maiden of the Vale, led House Arryn and served as Lady of the Eyrie during the epic civil war known as the Dance of the Dragons. It was said that she was homosexual and that she had sided with the Blacks during the Civil War.
