Kit Harington faces backlash over Wildlings and Night’s Watch comment about Palestine-Israel conflict

One of the worst international conflicts in recent memory, the ongoing conflict between Israel and Hamas has left hundreds of people battling for their lives. Hence, one has to be careful while talking about an issue as sensitive as this one. Kit Harington might’ve made that mistake during a past interview, which has recently resurfaced and hasn’t been received positively.

Kit Harington once compared Israelites and Palestinians to the Night’s Watch and Wildlings

Though the Israel and Palestine crisis has become more extreme recently, the conflict has existed for a really long time. In a past interview with Vulture, Harington talked about Jon Snow’s actions in Game of Thrones. He said:

“It’s actually Jon’s fault. He’s concentrating on the big picture, missing the little hints all around him. If you let a whole bunch of fucking wildlings through your gates, it’s like Israel letting through a whole bunch of Palestinians, or Palestine letting through the Israelis. It’s two warring factions who hate each other, and so you’re going to have dissent, and that dissent comes in its fiercest form, with the final blow.”

The interview has re-emerged recently on social media in light of the Jon Snow spinoff cancellation, and fans are not happy about it. A lot of them have criticized the MCU star for his careless remarks. Here are a few of the reactions:
