Pilou Asbæk says Euron Greyjoy will make Ramsay Bolton look like a little kid and other news from season 7

Euron Greyjoy might be the next big villain on Game of Thrones according to this theory

Game of Thrones Season 7 is getting closer, with less than a month left to the premiere, set for July 16th. The hype around the new season is at an all time high, and it seems like everybody around is helping in driving it up even more. We had recently reported about how a bit in Empire Magazine’s Game of Thrones spread revealed Jon Snow‘s birth name. We now have the full story, and it has revealed quite a bit of new information. Read on!

You can read the full story, below :

Now let’s talk about the important bits. First off, there is a very subtle bit of information which has been slipped in, and it has to do with none other than The Hound. The in-studio scenes needed the cast to be in winter-wear in a heavily lot environment, and thus a really hot one. Liam Cunningham (Ser Davos Seaworth) revealed that some of the cast members got vests with cold water being circulated within, to keep them cool, and that Rory McCann (The Hound), really appreciated that. Cunningham said :

“That poor man wears the full f**king armour and has to fight. I said, ‘You need to get that vest on.’ He said, ‘What f**king vest?!’ And when he put it on and plugged it in, he almost started weeping.”

Now, the idea of the Hound in a full armour isn’t obvious from where his story left off last season, so we’ll take this opportunity to hope that we might be seeing Cleganebowl sometime soon! He is also quoted saying later that he’s sore from his Season 7 run, which means that we’ll be seeing the Hound in action this season!

Next up, is the psycho of the season : Euron Greyjoy! We did get rid of a bad guy by the name of Ramsay Bolton, last season, but it seems as though we got another one, and one that will apparently make Ramsay look like “a little kid,” said Pilou Asbæk, who plays Euron. He explained :

“The psychos I’ve encountered have so many different sides to them. So each scene I’ve done with Euron, I pick a new thing I wanna show. ‘This scene I want to be charming.’ ‘This scene I wanna be a molester.’ ‘This scene I wanna kill someone.’ After this season, Ramsay’s gonna look like a little kid.”

Ouch.

We had recently reported about how a picture that John Bradley (Samwell Tarly) recently uploaded with Kit Harington, could be hinting at a Jon-Sam reunion, but Empire says that’s not happening. John Bradley said :

“Jon and Samwell have said goodbye a lot. But you felt there was a finality to that last goodbye between them. This season I’ve never felt more cast into the wilderness, really.”

That sinks our ship!

Another important detail was confirmed here. Jim Broadbent, who was cast in Season 7 to play a maester, as we had reported, has been confirmed to play Archmaester Marwyn. There had been some speculations, but this is the closest to an official confirmation that we have gotten, yet.

Although we probably won’t see a Jon-Sam reunion, it looks like we might get a new bromance this time around. Daniel Portman (Podrick Payne) and Jacob Anderson (Grey Worm) seem to be friends now! Anderson even sang a little, saying, “Podrick and G-Dubs, friends forever,” pitching their own spin-off idea. They apparently also tackle spoiler hunters by telling them there will be purple unicorns on the show! Hilarious!

Among other little bits, is an emphasis on the fact that a lot is riding on Bran Stark‘s shoulders, the rift between Cersei and Jaime, and Sansa‘s unrest with Jon getting all the northern glory. Oh, and that Ed Sheeran will be the start cameo. That’s about it! What do you think about the whole spread? Got any new speculations? Talk to us in the comments, down below!

Emilia Clarke and Jason Momoa set to reunite on The Graham Norton Show

There are quite a few Game of Thrones pairings that are iconic, but the top spot belongs to Emilia Clarke and Jason Momoa, without a doubt. The actors that played the onscreen couple Daenerys Targaryen and Khal Drogo are great friends in real world. We have seen them reunite quite a lot, but the two are headed for an onscreen reunion, as they’re scheduled to appear on The Graham Norton Show. Read on!

The popular British TV series The Graham Norton Show always has the best guest pairing, and they seem to have totally nailed it this time around. Emilia and Jason will be seen together on the show’s upcoming episode scheduled to air on October 25.

Emilia is currently in the middle of promoting her upcoming film Last Christmas, while Momoa is promoting his upcoming Apple TV+ series See. Maisie Williams says it was “horrible” to look like a boy to play Arya Stark

Maisie Williams says it was “horrible” to look like a boy to play Arya Stark

Game of Thrones has had a lot of strong female characters, but it would be inaccurate to say that it celebrates femininity. One example is Arya Stark, who is seen as a boyish character for most of the show, and as an extension, we all ended up seeing Maisie Williams the same way. In a recent interview, she discussed what it was like to have to hide her feminine side for the role, calling the experience “horrible.” Read on!

In a recent interview with Vogue, Maisie discussed coming of age in the spotlight, and more. Starting off, she talked about “maturing” about two seasons into the production of the show:

“But Arya was still very much like trying to be disguised as a boy and I had really short hair and they constantly covered me in dirt and shaded my nose so it looked really broad and I look like, really manly.”

She continued:

“And they would also put this strap across my chest to flatten any growth that had started, and I don’t know, that just felt horrible for six months of the year.”

The only glimpse we got of Arya Stark’s femininity came in the last season of the show, with her and Gendry sharing what was the first and only romantic moment for Arya throughout the show. Maisie also said that she felt ashamed to be a girl for a while, and is enjoying her feminine side a lot more now.

Well, it’s safe to say that the fans love this side of Maisie as well. What do you feel? Tell us in the comments, down below!

Fans wonder why Isaac Hempstead Wright wasn't on stage during Game of Thrones tribute at the Emmys

The 2019 Primetime Emmy Awards were recently held, and while Game of Thrones didn’t do as well as usual, it was the last Emmy appearance for the show. The show walked away with the Outstanding Drama Emmy, and also had a heartfelt tribute with some of the cast members.

What was surprising, however, was that the winner of the Game of Thrones (or the closest we got to it), Issac Hempstead-Wright, who played Bran Stark, was surprisingly absent from the tribute, but rather in the audience. This perplexed many of the fans:

Well, the logic seems to be that only the nominated actors were on the stage for the tribute, which isn’t a bad thing. However, being that it was the show’s last year at the site, it would’ve been better to have the entire cast on the stage.

What do you guys think? Tell us in the comments, blow down below!
