Robb Stark is the eldest son of Eddard (Ned) Stark and Catelyn Stark and the heir to Winterfell, the seat of House Stark in the North. He was born at Riverrun and raised at Winterfell. He also has two younger trueborn brothers, Bran and Rickon, and two sisters, Sansa and Arya.

Jon Snow, his“bastard half-brother” with whom Robb shared a close relationship. Robb was also close to his father’s ward, Theon Greyjoy.

Robb Stark was known as The Young Wolf. He was a talented rider, swordsman, and lancer. George RR Martin wrote the character of Robb Stark as, strong and fast with a stocky build, blue eyes, and thick auburn hair.

In the series, Robb initially declares himself King in the North, seeking independence from the Iron Throne after his father’s execution. He wins several key battles early in the war and gains a reputation as a skilled commander. The young wolf leads the Northern armies in rebellion against the rule of King Joffrey Baratheon in King’s Landing.

Robb is known for his sense of honor and duty, inherited from his father, as well as his military prowess. Scottish actor Richard Madden portrays Robb Stark in the “Game of Thrones” television series. Born on June 18, 1986, in Elderslie, Renfrewshire, Scotland. At the age of 11, Madden joined PACE Youth Theatre to help overcome his shyness. He was cast in his first role at age 11 and made his screen acting debut in 2001.

Richard began performing on stage whilst a student at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland. He graduated from the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland, formerly the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama, in Glasgow, in 2007. From 2011 onwards, Madden gained widespread recognition for his portrayal of Robb Stark, the honorable and charismatic eldest son of Ned Stark. His performance as Robb earned him critical acclaim and helped establish him as a rising star in the entertainment industry.

He subsequently played Prince Kit in the romantic fantasy film Cinderella (2015) and Italian banker Cosimo de’ Medici in the first season of the historical fiction series Medici (2016). In 2018, he gained critical acclaim for his performance as a police officer in the thriller series Bodyguard, for which he won a Golden Globe Award as well.

He has since starred as Ikaris in the Marvel Cinematic Universe superhero film Eternals (2021) and as a spy in the action thriller series Citadel featuring Priyanka Chopra as the female lead (2023–present).

Throughout his career, Madden has received several awards and nominations for his performances. Including a Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Drama Series as part of the ensemble cast of “Game of Thrones.”
