Lionel Messi says Game of Thrones is his favorite television show
The GOAT is a term used for those who are the best in their fields. Lionel Messi and Game of Thrones are two such names. While one is known for his outlandish skills on the soccer field, the other is known for dominating the television circuit for a decade. Messi is currently overseeing the end of his career, as he plays his last few years as a player in the MLS. He recently expressed his love for the show.
Lionel Messi reveals his favorite TV series
Despite being in the later years of his soccer career, Lionel Messi remains one of the most popular sports personalities of all time. On the Big Time Podcast, Lionel Messi recently revealed a few secrets about his personal life. He acknowledged that his favorite television show is Game of Thrones. The former FC Barcelona star admitted that he has watched the series numerous times- “I’ve watched it more than once”.
Messi had previously met up with Kit Harington
Due to an injury, the Argentine striker was unable to play against Benfica in the Champions League in Paris in 2022; nonetheless, he and his spouse Antonela Roccuzzo were there at the Parc des Princes to witness the match. In the stands, Harington was also sighted, and when the two saw one another, they could not pass up the chance to snap a quick photo.
