The Hedge Knight to begin filming at famous Game of Thrones locations
As the second season of House of the Dragon airs later this year, Game of Thrones fans are eagerly awaiting its release. Apart from the Targaryen civil war, there are other spinoffs that have managed to keep viewers excited for more news. A few months ago, HBO revealed the second prequel series, “A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms: The Hedge Knight.” Several of the iconic locations from Game of Thrones will make a return.
Three iconic Game of Thrones locations to feature in The Hedge Knight
The Hedge Knight is already in the casting phase, and is about to begin production soon. We can expect to see some famous Game of Thrones locations return in the prequel show, three of which have been revealed by the Redanian Intelligence. They include: Ashford and Flea Bottom (Glenarm Castle Estate and Myra Castle), Crownlands (Tollymore Forest Park) and the famous Titanic Studios.
What is The Hedge Knight about?
HBO revealed the official synopsis of the Game of Thrones spinoff not too long ago. It reads:
“A century before the events of Game of Thrones, two unlikely heroes wandered Westeros… a young, naïve but courageous knight, Ser Duncan the Tall, and his diminutive squire, Egg. Set in an age when the Targaryen line still holds the Iron Throne and the memory of the last dragon has not yet passed from living memory, great destinies, powerful foes, and dangerous exploits all await these improbable and incomparable friends.”
