Jason Momoa shares photo from when he was too broke to fly home from a Game of Thrones shoot

Game of Thrones has made stars out of a lot of actors, and we can certainly say that Jason Momoa is one of them. The hunky actor who now plays Aquaman played the role of Khal Drogo on Game of Thrones during Season 1. He recently shared a throwback photo of him from the same time, where he was too broke to fly home from a filming break. Read on!

Momoa took to Instagram to share a picture of him lying in the back of a U-Haul van in Belfast, reminiscent about his broke adventures:

So homesick. Looking through my phone I found this. Off the road some quiet parking lot in donegal. It was an amazing simple moment with my best friend @captainriff 📸 While filming GOT we had a lil break We were to broke to fly home so we rented a panel van aka UHAUL in Belfast and drove around beautiful amazing IRELAND searching for the greatest pint of Guinness. Turns out it’s perfect everywhere. So many wonderful people and stories I treasure those times It was the simplest moments I remember the most. I still miss my family. Been a long road and I feel like I’m just getting started. On the roam Needs to go home. Ps ill ask Brian for more pics he’s got the gold. Aloha j.

Apparently, Momoa was too broke to fly home from the filming break, so he and a friend rented the van, and drove around Ireland. Momoa has always been about living life to the fullest, and even in sharing what would be thought of as a hard time, he was nothing but positive. He said:

“So many wonderful people and stories I treasure those times It was the simplest moments I remember the most. I still miss my family. Been a long road and I feel like I’m just getting started.”

While Jason’s Drogo died in Season 1, he kept up with the show, and even had a really strong reaction to the series finale, recently. What do you guys think about this? Talk to us in the comments, down below!

Maisie Williams' X-Men movie "The New Mutants" gets its release date delayed again

Game of Thrones might be over, but the careers of its stars are far from it. The stars have moved on with other big projects already. Notably, the Stark sisters, i.e, Sophie Turner (Sansa) and Maisie Williams (Arya) both landed roles in the X-Men Universe. Sophie’s film, Dark Phoenix, recently released in theatres, but Maisie’s The New Mutants has been delayed, for the third time now. Read on!

Now, some of you might be aware that Disney bought Fox out, bringing the rights to the X-Men films back into the family. This means that the fate of ongoing projects hangs in the balance, and The New Mutants is one of them. The movie, which stars Maisie Williams, was initially set to release on April 13, 2018, which was then pushed to February 22, 2019, and once more to August 2, 2019. A new press release by Disney reveals the film has been pushed one more time, to April 3, 2020.

The New Mutants producer Simon Kinberg told Digital Spy the reason behind the latest rescheduling:

“What’s happening is we’re gonna do reshoots this year on that film and it has a new release date from Disney. That’s really it.

Part of it was figuring out what the reshoots were gonna be, the pick-ups, and the other part of it was getting that cast back together.”

Well, let’s just hope that it’s good when it does get released. Disney is surely bound to pick up feedback from Dark Phoenix, which bombed at the box office, with the worst reception for an X-Men movie, ever.
