Game of Thrones has had some crazy art from fans over the year, and it’s no surprise, given how huge the fandom is. However, this time there is a twist, with HBO themselves taking a leap into Game of Thrones art. HBO Asia will be holding a pop-up exhibition to display the pencil micro-sculptures made by Russian artist and sculptor, Salavat Fidai.
The exhibition will consist a total of 16 Game of Thrones flavored sculptures made on the tips of pencils : the Iron Throne, sigils from House Stark, House Targaryen, House Greyjoy, House Baratheon and House Lannister, as well as the Hand Of The King pin, Cersei’s new crown, Drogon the dragon, the Three Eyed Raven, the Night’s King, a White Walker, the Titan of Braavos, the Weirwood tree, and two swords – Brienne of Tarth’s Oathkeeper and Jon Snow’s Long Claw.
Fidai is very famous as one of the experts at micro-sculptures. His pencil sculptures are usually made on graphite pencils having diameters between 2mm to 5mm. He is also known for his miniature painting work on seeds and matchboxes. He has previously made similar sculptures in different themes like Star Wars, and famous monuments, since he began in 2014.
The exhibition will be held at K+ Curatorial Space, Scott Square, Scotts Road, Singapore, from April 22 to June 4, 11:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. Entry will be free. Take a look at his creations below:
