Although the recent episode of House of the Dragon lacked bloody conflicts, it showcased the intriguing dynamics between dragons and their riders. Seasmoke incinerated Ser Steffon Darklyn, a man with partial Targaryen lineage, while the grey dragon scrutinized and ultimately chose Addam as its new rider.

After the episode aired, Liberty revealed behind-the-scenes images from the iconic chase sequence, along with his training regimen to achieve a toned body. “Workout routine: running from dragons,” he captioned a photo on X, where he is seen shirtless, flaunting well-defined abs.

Liberty shared a still from episode 6, capturing him in a sprint for survival with Seasmoke flying above. “Why are you running?” he joked.

Clinton Liberty is a huge House of the Dragon fan
Liberty has lived through an age when Game of Thrones was all the rage. Hence when he got the chance, he grabbed it with both hands. He said in a recent interview,
“I’d have been happy to play a tree on House of the Dragon. I worked with Conleth Hill [who played Lord Varys in Game of Thrones] on Holding, and the whole time we were filming I was asking him about it. What’s Kit Harington like? What’s the world like? I was such a fan. And I’d do these affirmations. I used to wake up every morning and say: ‘One day I’m going to play a lead character in an HBO show. I’m going to be a character like Jon Snow.’ I said it every day for two years. I was just talking to the wind, really. Then lo and behold … ”
