Excitement is mounting as production gets underway for the third season of House of the Dragon. Fans of the Game of Thrones prequel are on the edge of their seats, eagerly awaiting the next gripping installment in the Targaryen dynasty’s tale. As of today, production has officially begun in the United Kingdom.

Production starts today on season 3

Production has officially begun on the third season of House of the Dragon Season 3, as per HBO Max PR. Sets for important locations such as Tumbleton and The Gullet have already been built, and the cast is getting ready for the shoot. Clare Kilner, Nina Lopez-Corrado, Andrij Parekh, and Loni Peristere will be helming the camera as directors this season.

Tommy Flanagan as Ser Roderick Dustin and Dan Fogler as Ser Torrhen Manderly are the most recently confirmed new cast members in House of the Dragon Season 3. They join the previously announced James Norton as Ormund Hightower in the show.

The list of former cast members returning this season includes: Matt Smith, Emma D’Arcy, Olivia Cooke, Steve Toussaint, Rhys Ifans, Fabien Frankel, Ewan Mitchell, Tom Glynn-Carney, Sonoya Mizuno, Harry Collett, Bethany Antonia, Phoebe Campbell, Phia Saban, Jefferson Hall, Matthew Needham, Tom Bennett, Kieran Bew, Kurt Egyiawan, Freddie Fox, Clinton Liberty, Gayle Rankin, and Abubakar Salim.
