BTS photos shared by Clinton Liberty might hint at a major House of the Dragon Season 2 battle

Season 2 of House of the Dragon is intensifying, with the Targaryens at the heart of the conflict. The narrative will mainly concentrate on the offspring of the feuding Targaryen ancestors. With the Greens and the Blacks planning out their next moves, it seems like House of the Dragon might be heading towards an attack on King’s Landing.

Rhaenyra and Daemon might take over King’s Landing this season

After the massive Battle of Rook’s Rest, House of the Dragon is on its way to further conflicts as the Dance of the Dragon progresses. And sometimes, actors inadvertently leak plot details working on a set as huge as the Game of Thrones prequel. Clinton Liberty, who plays Addam of Hull, recently posted some pictures from the weirwood tree set of King’s Landing, with the caption: “Meet my new freind…”

If these pics were taken during a scene filmed by him in the Red Keep, it might mean the Blacks have taken over King’s Landing. The taking over of King’s Landing was earlier hinted in one of our exclusive Season 2 leaks.

This might mean the story will progress a lot more by the end of the second season, and Rhaenyra and Daemon would’ve taken over King’s Landing in Aemond’s absence.

How did the Blacks take control of King’s Landing in Fire & Blood?

Prince Aemond Targaryen and Ser Criston Cole rallied their green-loyalist forces to march on Harrenhal, leaving King’s Landing virtually undefended. This presented an opportunity that the black-loyalist faction exploited.

Prince Daemon Targaryen, astride Caraxes, and Queen Rhaenyra Targaryen, atop Syrax, soared over the capital, circling their dragons above Aegon’s High Hill. Concurrently, the fleet of the Sea Snake, Lord Corlys Velaryon, approached from the east of Blackwater Bay. The combined pressure compelled Alicent to capitulate at the Red Keep, while Aegon II managed to flee King’s Landing.

It is possible that Addam Velaryon will be present in this scene in House of the Dragon.
