The illegitimate sons of Corlys Velaryon, Addam and Alyn of Hull, make their appearance in the latest season of House of the Dragon. Their introduction is significant as they are set to play a pivotal role for the Blacks in the Dance of the Dragons. In fact, Addam would go on to claim Seasmoke, Laenor Velaryon’s dragon.

Addam of Hull mounts Seasmoke

Though the latest episode of House of the Dragon was devoid of gory battles, it displayed interesting relationships between dragons and their riders. While Seasmoke turned Ser Steffon Darklyn, someone was had partial Targaryen ancestry into barbeque, the grey beast tested and accepted Addam as its rider.

Dragons are intelligent beasts. And even though Addam is ambitious, he is just a teenager who is adventurous at heart, something which was also seen in Laenor. Fans took to social media to express their happiness as the scene was brought to life from Fire & Blood:
