Matt Smith as Daemon Targaryen

HBO dropped the third episode of House of the Dragon. So far, It is the most spectacular episode in the series.

The Game of Thrones franchise is known for its power-packed performances. After all, the actors’ performances bring out the complexity of this fantasy world to life in a spellbinding way.

In this episode, the series took a three years leap, depicting all the developments that have taken place over this period with the remarriage of the King to Lady Alicent Hightower and the birth of his first male heir Aegon.

The episode shows the War for the Stepstones, where Prince Targaryen and the Sea Snake are battling the Crabfeeder, away from the courtly affairs and politics.

The battle sequence is choreographed and shot beautifully, bringing out the classic grit and gore of the GoT franchise. The dragons flying between the horizons spitting fire above the battlefield is a cherry on top. Still, the show-stealer is Matt Smith as Daemon Targaryen, showing his acting prowess by holding the entire sequence together without uttering many lines.
