Fans speculate about Daeron Targaryen’s casting and appearance in House of the Dragon
Will we see Daeron sooner than we think?

House of the Dragon has shown us the main members of the Blacks and the Greens, and the war has now begun in earnest. However, many important characters are still being introduced and are yet to appear. One of the most eagerly anticipated is the youngest dragonrider of the Greens, Prince Daeron the Daring.

Who is Daeron Targaryen?
Daeron Targaryen, also known as Daeron the Daring, is the rider of the dragon Tessarion, the Blue Queen. He has been fostered away from King’s Landing, in Oldtown, alongside Alicent’s family. According to Alicent’s brother Gwayne Hightower, Daeron is a kind young man, adept with the sword and the lute. In the book Fire and Blood, Daeron played a major part in the war and fought alongside his uncle, Ormund Hightower, who we are yet to see in the show.
He is a fan-favorite character that fans are eager to see appear, being teased since Season 1 with his symbol appearing in the opening credits. George R. R. Martin and Olivia Cooke also confirmed his presence in the show, with fans being overjoyed at him finally being mentioned in Season 2. However, fans are still unsure whether he has been cast and are speculating about when he will appear and who will play him.
