David Benioff and D. B. Weiss are proud of their next script post Game of Thrones debacle

Game of Thrones was perhaps the most loved show of its time. It shot the creators David Benioff and D. B. Weiss to the top of the world. The showrunner duo became a household name after creating their masterpiece.

However, they messed up the final season so bad there was a petition to remake it, that is still going on strong. And Benioff and Weiss aren’t vocally proud of how they ended the show. They are, however, proud of their next project, 3 Body Problem.

Game of Thrones showrunners have a new favorite script

The controversy surrounding the Game of Thrones finale turned out to be the highlight of David and Dan’s career so far. Hence, when they were asked by THR about the last script they’re proud of, they said it was 3 Body Problem, further going on to say that there “wasn’t anything quite like” their next show.

There might be a Red Wedding-like suspense in 3 Body Problem

In another interview, Benioff teased there might be a Red Wedding-like situation coming up in 3 Body Problem,

“The second book is far better than the first, and the third book just completely blew my mind. So I feel if we survive to the second season, we’re going to be in a good place. Things wildly escalate and there’s one scene, if we get to it, we’re golden — like when we got to the Red Wedding on Thrones.”
