Critical reception for “The Pod Generation” was mixed. Rotten Tomatoes reports a 41% approval rating based on 76 reviews, with an average score of 5.6/10. Metacritic assigns the film a 60 out of 100, indicating “mixed or average” reviews. While the performances of Clarke and Ejiofor were praised, some critics found the script to be convoluted, detracting from the overall experience.
