Stephen Colbert asks George R. R. Martin to finish The Winds of Winter instead of complaining about extra Dragon legs
Even Colbert isn’t happy with how long the book has taken.
Neither fans nor major talk show hosts, apparently, can keep calm and wait for George R.R. Martin to finish writing The Winds of Winter.
The fiction fandom is constantly nudging the author to make some real progress and release the book already. Game of Thrones may have ended with a different narrative years ago, but fans need to know what Martin intended for his fantastical universe.

Stephen Colbert urges George R.R. Martin to finish The Winds of Winter
The Winds of Winter is meant to cap the major Westeros saga as seen in the HBO show Game of Thrones. However, with years already gone by, fans are tired of waiting for the author to release the book.
In his talk show, famous host Stephen Colbert further commented on the situation and asked Martin to work on The Winds of Winter. He also poked fun at the fact that Martin is appreciating and pointing out errors at the same time in the ongoing prequel House of the Dragon.
“Meanwhile from the Department of Fantasy Biology, author George RR Martin has been watching House of the Dragon. He isn’t happy. You see he took to his blog recently to express his disappointment with the House Targaryen emblem because its three-headed dragon has four legs instead of his preferred two-legged depiction. Martin wrote four-legged dragons exist only in heraldry no animal that has ever lived on Earth has six limbs. Birds have two legs and two wings, bats are the same ditto, pteranodons and other flying dinosaurs etc. Got it, George and I bet you’ll totally nail the correct number of dragon legs in the Winds of Winter if you ever finish writing it!”
Colbert is among a large horde of fans who are anxiously waiting for the end of the saga in The Winds of Winter. The author has been working on it for quite a long time but no release date has been finalized for the book yet.
