HBO’s House of The Dragon, a prequel to Game of Thrones, is soon to release its second season. Like with its predecessor, the fantasy epic has so far received a ton of praise from fans who laud the characters, plotlines, locales, and other aspects that make it so compelling. Though House Stark, which received little prominence in the previous season, is one of the Houses that fans of House of the Dragon miss. Thanks to the introduction to one of the most well-known Starks ever, season 2 will bring us to Winterfell.

Ryan Condal loves Starks

Much like most fantasy lovers, Ryan Condal is a Game of Thrones fan. And just like most Game of Thrones fans, he’s a big fan of the Starks. Hence, he was quick to declare in a recent interview with EW, “I love a Stark!

In the teaser featuring Rhaenyra, actor Tom Taylor makes his screen debut as Cregan Stark. Jacaerys Velaryon (Harry Collett), Rhaenyra’s son, headed north in the season 1 finale to gather his mother’s followers. The trailer depicts Jace strolling beside Cregan up the top of the Wall.

Cregan Stark is very powerful, says the showrunner

Much like every Stark fan, Condal is excited to introduce the famed Lord of Winterfell. He told EW, “He’s very powerful. Everybody’s vying for his army. He’s quite a bit younger than Ned Stark was, so it’s interesting to see the Young Wolf, the young Stark lord, and how he carries himself in the world, and the burden that’s on his shoulders being the Warden of the North. I’m excited for the audience to see and experience that.”
