What is the takeaway from the new House of the Dragon trailers?
The three trailers, the Black, the Green, and the Dueling provide perspectives of the upcoming civil war. The Black trailer shows the pain Rhaenyra has felt on being usurped by her own family, and how she gives into war. The Green shows how Alicent gets embroiled in the conflict due to the actions of the men in her faction, and it causes her suffering too. In the last trailer, the two factions are put together against each other, looking at them through the viewers’ eyes, as they are also asked “Whose side are you on?”
