Gwendoline Christie (Brienne) opens up about Game of Thrones prequel House of The Dragon
Game of Thrones prequel House of The Dragon is one of the most highly anticipated shows of 2022. The premiere is right around the corner, and HBO has already dropped the full official trailer that was praised by fans and critics alike. House of The Dragon will be here in August, and HBO recently released a second teaser trailer featuring the dragons for the first time. The excitement amongst the fans is through the roof, and even the Game of Thrones celebs are looking forward to seeing it.
Game of Thrones alum Gwendoline Christie was present at the SDCC 2022 event as part of The Sandman’s exclusive panel, where she answered several questions about the new DC series. She also talked about House of The Dragon. Christie told Extra’s Katie Krause, “I think it’ll be great for people to see what feels like a continuation of the Game of Thrones story. It was so beloved. And still is now. And I will never stop loving Brienne of Tarth.”
Even though Christie is busy with The Sandman, she never misses a chance to express her love for Game of Thrones, and it does seem she is excited for House of The Dragon.
