Combining the greatest elements of both video games and TV show/movie franchises has allowed fans to have the best possible experience. Game of Thrones has also had several video games based on it over the years, but rarely any of them achieved popularity on par with the TV show. However, a new open-world MMORPG game based on the series is on the horizon, giving fans hope!

Get ready for a new Game of Thrones MMORPG game!

Fans have been waiting for a decent Game of Thrones game for a really long time. According to Redanian Intelligence, Nexon might just be preparing one. The game is said to be set around Winterfell and The Wall, and other regions of the North. The plot is set in a chronology that closely maps onto Seasons 4 and 5 of Game of Thrones. There could be additional regions as well, even if the outlet is only now aware of the North.

The new Game of Thrones game will employ new voice actors

Despite the game coming out several years after the show being concluded, fans might expect the original cast might be returning to voice their favorite characters. However, according to the publication, the original actors will not be coming back to voice these characters or any others the player will meet during the game. Instead, a whole new voice cast for the game is supposedly going to try to imitate the tones of the HBO performers. There is no fixed date for the game’s release, yet.
