Alicent’s scar
At the start of the episode, Grand Maester Orwyle treats Alicent’s wounds from the riot in King’s Landing. Alicent has a scar on her left hand, similar to the one Rhaenyra has from when Alicent cut her with the Catspaw dagger. Ironically, Rhaenyra’s actions indirectly caused the riot that led to Alicent’s injury, creating a symbolic connection between them.
