Did George R.R. Martin just hint at an Arya Stark spin-off?
Will we finally get to see Arya’s journey to the West of Westeros?
For both Game of Thrones actors and its audience, it was a transformative experience. Maisie Williams, who played Arya Stark, joined the show when she was 12 years old and grew up along with it. Most fans miss Game of Thrones and want to see their favourite characters on the screen again. With all the spinoffs currently being discussed at HBO, there’s a chance we might see Arya Stark again. And George R.R. Martin might have dropped a hint in his latest blog post.

George R.R. Martin had a fun meeting with Maisie Williams
Over the last couple of days, George R.R. Martin has updated fans about his tours and visits. He has a lot of exciting details to share. His most recent meeting with the Arya Stark actor might light a candle of hope for Game of Thrones fans curious about her character’s journey, as many people want to know what happens to Arya Stark at the end of Game of Thrones.
Martin recently wrote in his blog, Not A Blog:
“As usual, we combined business and pleasure, starting with a delightful lunch with my British editor, Jane Johnson, and her team from Harper Collins Voyager.
We also got together with Maisie Williams for pizza and pasta, and talked about… well, no, better not get into that, do not want to jinx it. But it could be so much fun.”
George R.R. Martin’s visit to the West End Theatre.
Martin had earlier revealed that a Game of Thrones play titled The Iron Throne was in progress at the West End Theatre. He also visited the set and shared,
“We also took advantage of the West End, and checked out five plays, among them PEOPLE, PLACES, AND THINGS, scripted by Duncan Macmillan, the playwright who is adapting the tourney at Harrenhal for the stage. I think we’re in good hands. Duncan’s play was dark, powerful, and intense. We grabbed a lunch at our hotel a few days before seeing the play, and talked about THE IRON THRONE.
I am told that the show is coming along splendidly. Our team did a run-through for the managers of a score of West End theatres (before we arrrived, alas, so we did not get to see it), and the excitement we palpable, we hear. We have not nailed down our opening day yet (next year, most likely), but it looks as though we will have our choice of theatres.”
Kristian Nairn visited Santa Fe for the Beyond The Throne author event
Earlier on Halloween, Game of Thrones star Kristian Nairn visited Santa Fe, George R.R. Martin’s base, for an author signing event for his book, Beyond The Throne. He was also the DJ at the Halloween Party afterwards, and Martin expressed his support for the Hodor actor on his blog.
