Who did Joseph Quinn play on Game of Thrones?
Joseph Quinn portrayed Koner in the seventh season of Game of Thrones in the episode titled ‘The Spoils of War’. Koner is a Stark soldier who was stationed at the front gate of Winterfell alongside another soldier, Henk, when Arya Stark (Maisie Williams) arrived. Henk asked her what she was doing there and told her to leave, and she replied that she was entering the castle. The two men laughed when she told them who she was, claiming that Arya Stark was dead. She asked for Maester Luwin and Ser Rodrik Cassel, but they replied that there was nobody with those names at Winterfell. She then asked for Jon Snow, and Henk informed her that Jon was a thousand miles away.
They insisted that she leave, but to their annoyance, she asked who was in charge of the castle. Koner and Henk told her it was Sansa Stark and gave her a final warning, grabbing for her. However, she easily avoided them. Arya warned them what would happen if Sansa found out they had turned her sister away. As they argued about what to do with her, she snuck into the castle without them noticing. Quinn’s role is small, and it’s not known what his character went in to do after this scene. Being sworn to Winterfell, he was undoubtedly involved in the battle against the dead in “The Long Night”.
Who was Joseph Quinn in Stranger Things?
Stranger Things is a popular series amongst Netflix viewers. In the most recent fourth season, actor Joseph Quinn portrays Eddie Munson, a sixth-year senior at Hawkins High School. Eddie was an electric guitar player in his band Corroded Coffin and the friend of Dustin Henderson, Lucas Sinclair, and Mike Wheeler.
Eddie is full of charisma and is the leader of the Hellfire Club, the official Dungeons & Dragons club of Hawkins High School. After the mysterious death of their classmate Chrissy, Eddie was spurred on to seek justice and joined forces with “The Party” and their allies to investigate the cause of her murder.
Eddie became the target of Chrissy’s boyfriend, Jason Carver, who believed him to be her murderer and rallied members of his basketball team together to track him down. They discovered that the interdimensional being, Vecna, was responsible for Chrissy’s death and was continuing to murder others.
Eddie was helped by Steve, Dustin, Caleb, Nancy, Max, and Robin, who knew the Upside Down. With their help, Eddie was able to stop Vecna from opening the gates, thus saving Hawkins from destruction. He assisted by performing an epic rendition of Metallica’s Master of Puppets to distract Vecna so Eleven could confront the demon.
Unfortunately, his brave act cost him his life as he was set upon by Demobats, which consumed him. Quinn’s performance as Eddie in Stranger Things earned him a Saturn Award nomination for Best Supporting Actor in a Streaming Series. Despite this, Eddie was still misrepresented as a murderer and cult leader, but Dustin comforted his uncle, assuring him that those close to Eddie would never forget him.
