8 awesome audiobooks to tune into starring the Game of Thrones cast

Game of Thrones which finally airs this Sunday had a long way to go through. As saddening as it may feel, it will come to end in May and all we’ll be left is with some of our favourite cast and moments on the TV series. But, ahead of the new season, here’s some you can venture for during your wait and when the series finally ends.

This venture, as we suggest, is listening to some awesome audiobooks by a few cast members of Game of Thrones on Audible. Some of the performances here include Heads Will Roll starring Peter Dinklage, Harry Potter: a History of Magic – narrated by Natalie Dormer, and others. Let’s dive into some of them.

#Peter Dinklage – Heads Will Roll

Starring our favourite star from Game of Thrones Peter Dinklage (Tyrion Lannister), Heads Will Roll is an Audible original from Saturday Night Live star Kate McKinnon and Emily Lynne. Airing on May 2nd, this ten-episode comedy series will also star Meryl Streep, Tim Gunn, Queer Eye’s Fab Five, and others.

#Kit Harington – True West

Released on April 4, Kit Harington and Johnny Flynn star as fighting brothers in this 1980 dark comedy by Sam Shepard. The official description reads, “The Cain and Abel conflict is a showdown of sibling rivalry, but also bears witness to a legacy of booze-fueled family brawls. #Natalie Dormer – Harry Potter: a History of Magic

This audiobook narrates some of the histories and secrets behind real-world magic along with magical inventions in JK Rowling’s magical world. Narrated by Natalie Dormer (Margaery Tyrell) and others, the audiobook takes you to 14^th-Century ancient China and beyond.

Containing 13 chapters based on aspects of warfare, the Art of War finds life in world politics, human psychology, and corporate strategy finding valuable insight in its timeworn words. This audiobook stars Aidan Gillen (Littlefinger) from Game of Thrones and Tommy Carcetti.

Gemma Whelan’s Nasty Women focuses on essays, interviews and accounts based on various women of 21st Century. The book deals with a vast range of issues of women of modern age like pregnancy, contraception, identity, family, finding a voice, punk, role models, fetishisation, power, etc.
