And the new opening intro plays a big role in it.

The new House of the Dragon opening struck a familiar chord with Ramin Djawadi’s brilliance. House of the Dragon: Season 2 carries on the Targaryen Bloodline tale, just like Season 1 did, but using a bloodstained tapestry instead. Aemma and Viserys are dead, and the bloodstream picks up where it left off. The death of Lucerys is then shown in the flow, with his sign covered in blood.
