Fans support Bethany Antonia after facing racial abuse for appearing in House of the Dragon trailer
Game of Thrones has one of the most diverse and amazing fanbase. The fan count has only increased with the arrival of the prequel House of the Dragon. Those who have followed George R. R. Martin’s work for a long time know that several changes were made to both the TV shows. One of them was the issue of Velaryons, as they look vastly different from what was described in Fire & Blood. And because of that, some actors such as Bethany Antonia had to face racial abuse.
Bethany Antonia faces abuse from racist fans
Antonia plays Baela Targaryen in House of the Dragon, and will be featured more prominently in Season 2 than she did in Season 1. HBO recently released 3 trailers for the upcoming prequel show, and the hype meter is at an all-time high. Baela was also seen riding her dragon Moondancer in the Black trailer. However, some fans who aren’t fans of her casting began to send racist abuses to her on social media.

Bethany Antonia has shared with us a peak into the racist attacks she's receiving just because her character Baela is getting more screen time.
