Resident Evil actor Turlough Convery joins House of the Dragon Season 2 as Lord Mooton

House of the Dragon is a little bit closer to finishing filming its second season as production at Bourne Woods in Surrey just wrapped up. This is actually a pretty swift development, and each day more information about the story, the actors, and the location is being made public. The movie is scheduled for an early 2024 release. Recently, another cast member who will feature in Season 2 has gained attention.
Turlough Convery to play Lord Mooton
The second season of House of the Dragon is currently under post-production, and a lot more details are coming to light. A recent report via Redanian Intelligence suggests that Resident Evil star Turlough Convery has been roped in to play the role of Lord Mooton in the second season of House of the Dragon.
Who is Lord Mooton?
Though it is not clear which Lord Mooton will Convery play, there are two Lord Mooton’s in Fire & Blood. One was Lord Walys Mooton, who was burnt alive while trying to slay the injured dragon Sunfyre after the retaking of Rook’s Rest. The other was named Manfryd, who became Lord of Maidenpool after his brother, Lord Walys.
