Pedro Pascal continues to shine in 2024. The former cast member of Game of Thrones had an incredible start in 2023 in HBO’s The Last of Us, wowing critics and viewers alike with his portrayal of Joel.

The Emmy nominee recently appeared at The Golden Globes with his arm in a sling. This has worried his fans waiting for his upcoming projects, including The Last of Us Season 2.

Pedro Pascal’s injury won’t delay the filming of The Last of Us

Pascal was recently seen at The Golden Globes ceremony in a black outfit with his arm in a matching black sling. Though it is not clear what caused the injury, it seems like it won’t come in the way of his future projects. As confirmed by Deadline, “Pascal’s injury is not expected to delay production on season 2”. The Last of Us season 2 will begin filming this year next month.

The Last of Us did not win a single award at The Golden Globe

Nobody anticipated that The Last of Us would do so horribly at the Golden Globes, especially after their incredible run on Day 1 of the Emmy prizes, during which they managed to win the most prizes.While Succession only managed to secure four titles, the video game adaption was unable to secure any.

Kieran Culkin of the corporate drama received Best Performance by an Actor in a Television Series – Drama, narrowly defeating Pedro Pascal, his fellow contestant from The Last of Us.
