The Last of Us leads the Emmy Awards tally with 8 wins on Night 1

HBO’s The Last of Us is one of the network’s most popular series to date. The second season is in the works, and fans are ecstatic to continue the gorgeous and horrific post-apocalyptic trip. Ellie and Joel, as played by Bella Ramsey and Pedro Pascal, are ruling hearts and the Emmy race this year. The show had a blockbuster opening at the Emmy Awards 2023.

The 75th Emmy Awards was postponed to 2024 due to the WGA and SAG-AFTRA strikes, and the first night which was held recently saw the distribution of awards for creative arts.
