Moondancer, Tyraxes, and Stormcloud will debut in Season 2

X (Twitter) Account Wake the Dragon, a reliable insider source, recently revealed that three new dragons will be debuting in House of the Dragon Season 2. These three dragons are Moondancer, Tyraxes, and Stormcloud.

Moondancer is the dragon of Lady Baela Targaryen, the daughter of Daemon Targaryen and Laena Velaryon. We saw a shot of Baela riding her in the teaser trailer for Season 2, though we did not see Moondancer in the shot.

Tyraxes belongs to Queen Rhaenyra and Laenor Velaryon’s son, Joffrey Velaryon. Young Prince Joffrey did not have a huge role in the battles of the Dance of the Dragons, according to book canon. However, it’s interesting to speculate the role he and his dragon will play in the HBO series.

Stormcloud is the dragon of Rhaenyra’s son, nicknamed ‘Prince Aegon the Younger.’ Historians gave him this nickname to distinguish him from his uncle, King Aegon II Targaryen. Along with his dragon Stormcloud, he is part of a conflict early on in the war, which will shape the history of the land.
