Joe Jonas denies Sophie Turner’s claims of wrongfully detaining their children
In Game of Thrones, the relationships were a chaotic mess. However, reality isn’t really that different. Relationships in real life are at least as complex as those in George R. R. Martin‘s books. Actress Sophie Turner from Game of Thrones isn’t having much luck with love as well, just like her character Sansa on the television show. After filing a divorce complaint, her ex-husband Joe Jonas hits back at her saying her claims about their children are false.
Joe Jonas says he didn’t “abduct” his kids
In a recent report by the news site Page 6, Jonas’ reps called the lawsuit a “harsh legal position” and said that it goes against the “amicable co-parenting setup” he believed they wanted to ensure for their children recently as last Sunday.
“Less than 24 hours later, Sophie advised that she wanted to take the children permanently to the UK. Thereafter, she demanded via this filing that Joe hand over the children’s passports so that she could take them out of the country immediately,” the rep revealed.
Joe Jonas wants their children to be raised both in US and UK
Jonas’ rep further clarified, “Joe is seeking shared parenting with the kids so that they are raised by both their mother and father, and is of course also okay with the kids being raised both in the US and the UK”, while also stating the fact that the children are US citizens by birth.
The reps also accused Turner of already knowing about the divorce, which she earlier stated happened overnight after an argument.
