Martin‘s novels. Similar to her on-screen character Sansa, Game of Thrones actress Sophie Turner isn’t having much success with love. She didn’t even know she was getting divorced from her ex-husband Joe Jonas until she saw media reports about it.

Sophie Turner came to know about her divorce through media

Allegedly, Turner didn’t even know the divorce was finalized, until she saw media reports about it. According to the news site Page 6, Turner claims she found out about it “through the media”, when Joe filed for divorce in a Miami court on September 5. According to the paperwork, the marriage ended abruptly after a fight on August 15, Jonas’ birthday.

Joe Jonas claims Sophie Turner knew about the divorce beforehand

After Sophie Turner launched her legal attack, Joe Jonas retaliated against Turner’s assertion that she learned about their divorce “through the media,” insisting that she was “aware” he would file for divorce after “multiple conversations.” According to Joe’s reps, “Joe has already disavowed any and all statements purportedly made on his behalf that were disparaging of Sophie.”
