House of the Dragon Season 2 to premiere between April-June!

The second season of House of the Dragon will premiere in the summer of 2024, much to the delight of fans. Based on George R.R. Martin‘s novel “Fire and Blood,” the prequel to Game of Thrones features a multitude of new characters from Westeros’ history. We now have a more exact release window for the second season.

House of the Dragon Season 2 to arrive in the second quarter of 2024

House of the Dragon is currently undergoing reshoots for season 2. As the production moves closer to completion, more details are being revealed. Recently, Warner Bros. Discovery CEO David Zaslav announced (via THR):

“Looking ahead, we’ve got one of the best lineups in the history of HBO. This next quarter, we’ll have Hacks and House of the Dragon, followed by DC’s The Penguin and the new Dune series. Then in 2025, we’ll kick off the year with the new season of The White Lotus, followed by The Last of Us and Euphoria, just to name a few.”

The Hedge Knight release window revealed

A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms: The Hedge Knight has generated a lot of buzz ever since it was revealed. Warner Bros. Discovery CEO David Zaslav discussed the anticipated release schedule for the forthcoming prequel on the company’s most recent earnings call. Zaslav revealed:

“George R.R. Martin is in pre-production for the new spin-off, A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms, which will premiere in late 2025 on Max.”
