House of the Dragon Season 2 to be released in Summer 2024

The progress on House of the Dragon Season 2 had quickened ever since the WGA strike ended. Moreover, the production has painted a clearer picture of when we can have the second chapter of the highly awaited Game of Thrones prequel. According to a report by Deadline, Casey Bloys revealed the second season of the Game of Thrones spinoff will premiere in early summer 2024 during an HBO event in New York this morning.

Members of the press were shown the trailer of House of the Dragon Season 2

The report also states that several members of the press who were invited by HBO were shown the first trailer of the upcoming season of House of the Dragon. However, they were instructed that the clip was “exclusively for members of the media, who are not allowed to report details about the contents of the footage”.

This might mean that the post-production is very close to wrapping up, and the press tours will begin very soon. Once that starts, we will be getting a trailer in no time, and a more accurate release date when House of the Dragon Season 2 premiere drops.
