With House of the Dragon premiering in New York and Paris, many fans and reviewers have seen the first two episodes. Many things have come to light and been revealed to the general public. Though most people are tight-lipped about the details, some reviewers have let slip some details from the upcoming season.

We know from previous reports that Blood and Cheese, the deadly assassins, will appear in the first two episodes of Season 2. The storyline involving them revolves around the murder of King Aegon II’s son, Jaehaerys. This is revenge for the murder of Queen Rhaenyra’s son Lucerys. It will also show us the descent into madness of Queen Helaena.

However, the Twitter account VISVNYA has revealed through a source that Blood and Cheese’s target was Aemond Targaryen. This lines up with promo videos and other leaked reports. Promo videos show Daemon conversing with Rhaenys, and she is concerned about what will happen if Rhaenyra runs into Aemond. We also got a video where Daemon said his famous line from the book, ‘a son for a son.’

Reviews have suggested that Rhaenyra will utter four words that will launch the civil war. According to sources, these four words are “I want Aemond Targaryen.” Why the two assassins then end up assaulting Helaena and her children is yet to be revealed, and something we are likely to see by Episode 2 of Season 2.
