Blood and Cheese terrorize Helaena
A shot in the trailer clearly shows us the ratcatcher-turned-assassin named Cheese. We see him as he prevents Queen Helaena from escaping his clutches.
Readers of George R.R. Martin’s book Fire and Blood are aware that this incident is the most horrific among those that occurred in the Dance of the Dragons.
To avenge the death of Prince Lucerys at the hands of Aemond Targaryen, Prince Daemon sends two assassins from the belly of Flea Bottom to infiltrate the Red Keep.
Along with a former butcher known only as Blood, the assassin known as Cheese sneaks into the castle. He has knowledge of the secret passageways from his time as a ratcatcher.
What ensues is a bloodcurdling scene that haunts Rhaenyra’s actions throughout the war.
HBO has released details confirming that this incident will occur in the very first episode of House of the Dragon season 2 and may even extend to the second episode.
Needless to say, fans who have been anticipating news of this scene are most likely biting their nails after getting their first visual of this terrifying incident.
