House of the Dragon fans ecstatic after Milly Alcock’s casting as DCU’s Supergirl
After Jason Momoa‘s Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom brought the former DCEU to an end, Warner Bros. and DC Studios are going through major changes. Under the direction of James Gunn and Peter Safran, the new DCU will be a reboot of the franchise, with new characters and faces joining the fray. Milly Alcock (Rhaenyra) from House of the Dragon will now be joining the franchise as the Woman of Steel, Supergirl.
Milly Alcock has been cast as DCU’s Supergirl
For a long time, Milly Alcock was the front-runner to play Supergirl in James Gunn and Peter Safran‘s DCU. Alcock, who was up against Emilia Jones and Meg Donnelly for the part, finally emerged as the top choice as Supergirl. James Gunn also verified the report in a since-deleted Tweet.

Milly Alcock looks like the epitome of Kara and I'm sure she'll be wonderful, but what a shame we were blessed with a Latina Supergirl they pretty much did nothing with
