Game of Thrones breaks another Emmy record. Wins 9 Creative Arts Emmys

Over the years, Game of Thrones has become synonymous with breaking records and this week, it did what it is best at doing. During the recently concluded Creative Arts Emmys awards, Game of Thrones won a record 9 awards, which is one more that what it won the last year. The show had received 23 Emmy nominations this year, which was more than any other show this year out of which 15 were Creative Arts Emmy nominations.

With this win, Game of Thrones has taken it Emmy awards tally to 35, which makes it the most awarded drama ever. Till last year, Game of Thrones was tied with The West Wing and Hill Street Blues with 26 awards. The Battle of the Bastards episode led the race for the show by winning 4 awards. Looking at the way Game of Thrones has won the Creative Arts Emmys awards, there is a good chance that the show will break another record during the Primetime Emmys, which will air this Sunday.
