Aegon II Targaryen’s cavalry arrives on the set of House of the Dragon in Wales

Game of Thrones prequel House of the DragonĀ is a story of how a once great family became the reason for its own downfall. The Targaryens, who conquered Westeros with their dragons, end up turning against their own kin, reducing the Targaryen and Dragon population to less than half. There will be plenty of wars fought between the two Targaryen factions, and it appears a significant number of them will be filmed in Wales.

Aegon II’s cavalry arrives in Penmon

It was previously reported that some of the sites are being prepared to film war scenes for House of the Dragon in Wales. Steve Toussaint as Corlys Velaryon in full battle gear was seen in Penmon yesterday. Today, a battalion of Aegon II’s cavalry was seen on Penmon Beach by the local Jordana Egan. Is it the preparation for another battle?

A scene involving Rhaenyra Targaryen’s youngest children, Aegon and Viserys, was earlier reported to be filmed in Wales. According to a recent report by the fan account House the Dragons, the child actors playing the role have arrived in Wales for the filming.
