Fans are ecstatic about the release of House of the Dragon‘s second season. Many of the intriguing and surprising storylines this season are based on the Targaryen Civil War from George R.R. Martin‘s Fire and Blood. The most terrifying of them is the one about Blood and Cheese, the hired assassins of Prince Daemon Targaryen. There was a twist when we witnessed it in the House of the Dragon Season 2 premiere.

House of the Dragon’s Blood and Cheese arc differs from Fire & Blood

Daemon employs ratcatcher Cheese and sellsword Blood to get revenge on the Greens, as we now know from both the novel and the television series. “A Son for a Son” is the title of the first episode, which represents this. Daemon was speaking about Aemond, though, as the son.

However, instead of Aemond, Blood and Cheese inadvertently find Helaena and her children. There is a distinct expression on Daemon’s face when Blood and Cheese ask him what to do if they can’t find Aemond, yet the show appears to be implying that these were maybe Daemon’s secondary orders.
