D’Arcy was born in Enfield, North London. Their interest in acting sparked during a school production of “A Midsummer Night’s Dream,” where they played Titania in year six. This experience ignited their passion for the performing arts. D’Arcy pursued Fine Art at the Ruskin School of Art, graduating in 2011 from St Edmund Hall, Oxford. However, the CIA orders their agent, Marissa, to shut down the project and eliminate all the babies involved. D’Arcy’s character, Sonia Richter, is introduced in the second season as a new addition to Marissa’s Paris office.
Truth Seekers
Emma D’Arcy portrayed Astrid in the 2020 Amazon Prime Video series Truth Seekers. It is a British supernatural comedy horror created by Nick Frost, Simon Pegg, James Serafinowicz, and Nat Saunders. The show revolves around a team of paranormal investigators uncovering mysteries.

However, on 11 February 2021, Nick Frost announced via Instagram that the show had been cancelled. Gus Roberts, an engineer, pursues paranormal investigations in his spare time.
Paired with new recruit Elton John by his boss David, Gus forms a close friendship with Elton in enthusiasm for the supernatural. They are joined by Astrid, a young woman haunted by ghosts, played by Emma D’Arcy.
