“Shooting something as big as that show, with so many technical elements and long hours, can feel very rigid at times. But Matt understands how vital play is to our work. He’s taught me to fight for that space rather than just take it. It’s amazing to see how he does it, and it was such a joy for me to watch and learn from him.”

“I loved seeing what excites him, what lights up his imagination, and how he approaches things. He loves trying something new—just say anything fresh during a take, and he’s completely engaged.
