Future Kings of Westeros seen in House of the Dragon Season 2 Episode 2
A small glimpse of the future Kings of the Seven Kingdoms delighted fans in House of the Dragon season 2 episode 2. We see Rhaenyra sitting with her toddler sons Aegon III and Viserys II.
After the events of Dance of the Dragons unfold, Aegon III comes into power, however, he is called Aegon the Unhappy because he has witnessed the gruesome end of his mother, Queen Rhaenyra Targaryen. The trauma of witnessing that and also the countless battles and betrayals leaves Aegon III barely a shell of a man.
Furthermore, Viserys II eventually became the tenth King of Westeros. Unfortunately, his reign lasts for just about a year. The two brothers share a close bond as Viserys II even serves as the Hand of the King to his elder brother. Together, they unite the realm after the brutal civil war and help restore some peace and stability.
