For ten years, HBO’s Game of Thrones dominated hearts, audiences, and the awards circuit. It was a television phenomenon in every way. House of the Dragon, the prequel series, appears to be taking its cues very seriously. The show has received several nominations for this year’s Emmy Awards and has already won The Golden Globe for Best Drama. The Game of Thrones spinoff has already secured another prestigious accolade ahead of the awards season.
