Game of Thrones prequel House of The Dragon is finally here; it broke the internet when it arrived with its amazing plot, resounding dialogues, down-to-earth characters, and of course, the dragons. While the fans didn’t get to hear an intro song at the beginning of the episode, a very familiar tune was played during the end credits of the premiere which took them back to the Game of Thrones days. Fear not, music composer Ramin Djawadi’s skillful artwork will return in the next episode of House of The Dragon. And HBO has already released the official soundtracks for the first season of the show, now available on Spotify.

The official Twitter account of House of The Dragon announced the news:

The playlist sports around 40 different tunes that you can listen to, all from Ramin Djawadi. For now, only the first soundtrack from the upcoming show, named ‘The Prince That Was Promised’, has made an entry into the list. the rest are from Game of Thrones. We have already heard the Game of Thrones intro song in the end credits of the first episode, so it is easy to assume more will follow as Djawadi himself said his team wanted to keep the DNA of the original show’s music in House of The Dragon. More will be added to the list as the show continues.
